Worth it for Revenge alone. Fantastic set of games. If only I didn't already own them all! Great news.

Hand of Fate, A Card Collecting/Hack & Slash Hybrid - One Week Left!
6 Dec 2013 at 12:28 pm UTC

That looks superb, but the curse of non-US Kickstarter has bitten - no paypal support. I'm a bit stubborn on that front. No paypal/amazon, no support from me. I can't even back UK projects for the same reason and that's where I'm from... :-(

I've emailed Kickstarter UK about this, but they refuse to support anything other than direct credit card payments.

I've voted on Greenlight though. Every little helps, I suppose!

SteamWorld Dig A Hybrid Of Super Metroid & Terraria Released On Steam For Linux

Quoting: Quote from ApopasBut only on Steam? Why?
That's where the money is? Seems odd to ignore the likes of the Humble Store though.

Sprite Lamp - Dynamic Lighting For 2D Art
5 Dec 2013 at 10:21 pm UTC

Not sure if you can see this if you didn't pledge, but Paradise Lost recently mentioned Sprite Lamp after they hit a stretch goal to improve their sprite animations!

So basically, one Kickstarter project is potentially using another Kickstarter project to improve their work. Doesn't get much better than that.

Apotheon Confirmed For Linux!

Yep, the love child of Patapon and Mark of the Ninja, I think. Looks absolutely superb. I'll buy it when it hits Steam.

The Funding Crowd 24 (Nov 15th-24th)
27 Nov 2013 at 9:44 pm UTC

Scraps looks good, definitely. Could be a contender for a Gem in the next issue and it's already on the WIKI (likely courtesy of Lurker or Muntedefems). Sadly, I can't pledge because the NZ payment system doesn't support Paypal, but that wouldn't stop me writing it up if makes the nomination process. It's got 20 days to run still, so it's definitely a candidate!

Ascendant, a 2.5D Roguelike Brawler
25 Nov 2013 at 9:53 pm UTC

This is one of our Gems in the Funding Crowd #24 which should be released shortly, so we've had our thunder stolen a bit here! Not to worry though, it's a cracking looking game and I'm sure the devs won't mind us mentioning it twice!

Rage Under Wine, How It Performs
25 Nov 2013 at 9:51 pm UTC

Yep, pretty sad Carmack gave it up like that. I have zero interest in wine personally - even well packaged wine games like Limbo use an absolutely unacceptable amount of CPU on my laptop while Trine heats it up less, doing more. I'm not a fan of it.

Dead Sky Steam Release Slated For Today
24 Nov 2013 at 10:52 am UTC

It's getting panned on the Steam forums, which is a huge shame, as this had a lot of promise. I'm not sure if I'll be splashing the cash on this one just yet. Gutted though, cos I was right up for this one.

GOL Cast: Exploring Lovecraftian Dungeons in Eldritch

Nice one, Samsai. I just coughed for Delver yesterday and it's a similar title. I might have to go for this one too. It looks a little more polished than the Early Access one I bought!
