Anyone played Pathfinder: Kingmaker? Been wondering about that one. I know very little about the Pathfinder universe except that it's very similar to D&D.

Wishlisting and will check back in a year (or two). This has become my favorite genre (by far) over the last few years so I hope they continue this one to completion. Looks great, so far.

Just picked it up through the link. I like the humor from the trailer, not crazy about the music, though. For $5 it's worth a shot.

Quoting: Mountain ManI'm always excited about a new Stellaris expansion because I bought the complete soundtrack on Steam several years ago, and every time a new expansion is released, the music is automatically added to my library. So buying the soundtrack separately automatically gives you access to all future expansion soundtracks too? If so, that's pretty sweet. I have the "Original Game Soundtrack" which came with a bundle but not sure if it includes any future ones since I've yet to buy any expansions...the vanilla game still overwhelming enough and I have about 100 hours into it already.

I assumed the unity patch would only apply to new games. I was wrong. Logged into my current game and..wow. I guess I haven't been following the updates more than to know that there was some kind of unity change coming. As Purple Guy alluded, Admin Cap no longer exists but you still get penalized for sprawl. My Bureaucratic Center world and all my Admin Centers are just producing Unity now. So, yeah, I have a ton of Unity which I guess is good? I'm still trying to grasp the purpose of the change. I'm assuming there's some other way now to counter sprawl penalties but not sure what that is yet.
Space station management in IXION sure looks shiny in the first gameplay trailer

Looks good. I'm guessing it'll come in around 80% city builder and 20% exploration but the exploration parts they show in the video do look interesting (I'd prefer more of that). I'm also impressed they show real gameplay footage in the trailer.

Keep in mind that some of the games on that list which are marked as "Broken (Anti-Cheat)" do actually work just fine as long as you don't try to connect to official servers. Case in point, Conan Exiles runs fantastic under proton and you can connect just fine to non-official servers (or run your own).
I'm not disagreeing with the "Broken" designation but just wanted to point out that it may run just fine with caveats. This is generally how games like this are classified on Proton and Wine's DB's - something like "Runs (with issues)" etc.

Also from their website:
While the game is available for Linux and Mac it has only been tested on Windows.
I translate this as "I can't be bothered to even spin up a VM with Linux on it but hey, I'll go ahead and take your $4.99 thanks."
No thanks.
