The Last Federation from Arcen games has received not only a might fine patch, but a whopping big expansion too!

Pillars of Eternity, the massive RPG to come from Obsidian Entertainment & Paradox Interactive is set to release early next year, and it's now up for pre-order with Linux support.

The narrative driven game is set in the same universe as Freebird Games' hit To the Moon and will lead up to the planned next instalment in the series. It's available DRM free from GOG and Humble Store and on Steam today.

The DRM free publisher has entered into a partnership with ©Disney to add 20+ classic titles from the back catalogue of now defunct publisher LucasArts Entertainment Company. The first batch of six games were added today. Two of which are available for Linux.

The tactical squad shooter has been in Steam Early Access since 3rd September of last year, but was officially released today. The game is now available for Linux through retailers such as GOG, Humble Store and Steam.

GOG are becoming more useful for Linux gamers, as in the last week they have hit over 100 Linux games on their store!

GOG ran a Twitch live stream where they talked about the future of GOG and their Galaxy client. The main news is that they officially confirmed a Linux version!

A GOG employee of the name Destro explains in several paragraphs why answering "When will Galaxy be released?" is not that straightforward.

The Witcher 2 was released on GOG for Linux recently for DRM free fans, but sadly it was an older version that the GOG team put up. With all the performance improvements in the new versions it was needing an update. GOG have contacted us to let us know a patch is now available.

The Witcher 2 for Linux is now fully DRM-free and available to buy from GOG, but be warned the GOG team accidentally put up an older version.

There is actually a dating simulation/visual novel based around pigeons. I wish I was surprised, but with Goat Simulator coming to Linux it seems we are primed to get all the weird games now too.

GOG are DRM-free champions that's for sure, and since they support Linux now we can join in on the fun. They have now announced DRM-free movies, but they will also be removing some games.

In a press release last week the developer of indie hit To the Moon, Freebird Games, revealed that their next game, A Bird Story, will be available for Linux on Steam and GOG, among other distribution platforms.

GOG has been building up their library quicker and quicker, and thankfully some recent games added are on Linux now too. Come take a look!

Gods Will Be Watching is a game that is quite hard to describe, and it's bloody hard as well. It's a pixel art point and click adventure game where you need to be quite brutal.

Today marks a big day for Linux and DRM free gaming. GOG.com are now officially supporting Linux on their store, and so that's pretty much all major online stores supporting Linux.
