Quoting: ToriLiam asked in the video what the name "Luxtorpeda" actually means, here's the answer: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luxtorpeda [External Link]
From the article: "roughly translated as English: luxury torpedo" - that's an awesome name!

Quoting: CyborgZetaValve mentioned before that the Steam Deck can be used as a controller on PC. Have you tested this function yourself? I am interested in plugging in my Deck to my PC and using it as a controller when not playing on the Deck itself.
AFAIK it can only be used through Remote Play as a controller, not plugged in.
Yeah? Well, that's a bummer. Guess I won't be bothering with that then.
I'm guessing you're looking for an officially, out-of-the-box, supported solution. so this might not be if interest but...

The whole Deck as a controller thing piqued my interest. If I haven't misunderstood things, and if the Deck exposes functionality to switch the USB-C port to device/gadget mode it might very well be possible to configure and expose the controller as a USB gamepad with configfs [External Link] (that particular example is for Ethernet but HID devices are possible too).

Just an idea of course, but it will be interesting to see if that's possible and what other fun stuff people come up with.

Looks like it: https://steamdb.info/app/1245620/info/ [External Link] (Click Information, scroll down to Steam Deck Compatibility)

Hmm.. looking at that timestamp, test_timestamp: 25 February 2022 – 00:00:00 UTC, Valve time machine confirmed?

Beyond a Steel Sky got some Deck fixups and is apparently waiting to be verified. I don't think that's been covered?

The Linux port better be built with "-g" or they should simply call it ELF Fortress!

Quoting: EikeI would agree, but why is Outlast, which I played through natively, appearing on my "unsupported" list?
It might be something quite simple, like the game not being usable with a controller out of the box?

Nice little Tux in the top left corner right at the beginning!

I wishlisted this when I played the demo the first time around. It seems to capture the spirit of Broken Sword very well. Maybe Lithuania in the spring will be as intriguing as Paris in the fall?

Looking at the classic 'venturing games, these look interesting:
  • A Classic Tale [External Link] - Features an undead deuteragonist (depressive Death)!
  • Nine Noir Lives [External Link] - How many things need to be licked to solve a murder in this town?

Also, I look forward to trying the McPixel 3 demo.
