Since I no longer have a problem with using Google software and services, I've thought about getting a Chromebook to try out. I have a Nokia Android tablet that I like, and I'm interested in buying Google's Pixel Tablet whenever it comes out. But maybe a Chromebook might work better for what I use my tablet for. I have a T440p ThinkPad that I like, but that's not something I consider portable. It also can't run Android apps.
All that being said, making Steam available on more platforms can only be a good thing, in my opinion.

I haven't used Windows on any of my devices in over two years. Hopefully, Valve continues boosting and improving Linux gaming; and I can continue staying away from Windows.

I deleted my Twitter account a couple days ago. I had it for years, but pretty much never used it. I'm just not a social media person, and I actively dislike Twitter.
Signed up with Mastodon back in August and used it for a while. I like it better than Twitter, but I eventually ran into the same problem; I'm not a social media person. However, I will keep my Mastodon (Fosstodon) account active, in case I decide to use it again.

This is the first month in a long while where my PC info changed. Increased my RAM, upgraded my GPU, swapped EndeavourOS for Kubuntu, and swapped my PS5/DualSense controller for a Stadia controller.
Say what you will about Stadia...I'm no fan of cloud gaming myself, but the Stadia controller is actually quite good.

The only EA game I have installed that uses (used?) Origin is Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. It did indeed install the EA App, but the Origin loading still came up. Game booted up fine though.

Probably won't grab Kubuntu 22.10. I'll be sticking with 22.04 for the moment.

I don't like this new app at all after using it some more.
I wanted to change the phone number on my account, but only had my phone with me, so I used the app. Things were fine up until I had to open a link in an email to verify the new number. Normally an easy process. Except it kept opening it in the app, and the app would instead present me a page asking me if I wanted to move the Authenticator.
I repeated this process multiple times until I gave up and tried in Firefox Android, but now I have to wait a week to add the number I wanted due to multiple failures.
So I deleted the number I had on my Steam account, turned off the Authenticator, and uninstalled this awful new app. Valve, I like you guys a lot, but if your app is going to make changing things in my account this frustrating, then it can stay off my phone.

I do not like that you are unable to log out of the app if you have Steam Guard authenticator enabled. I do not want, nor need, to be logged in on this app 24/7.
