Quoting: WorMzy
Quoting: BumadarI was hoping it might be in modern Japan I loved the train names [External Link] they give them.... and yes I been on the [Thunderbird]("https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thunderbird_(train)")
I don't think I've ever been on the Thunderbird, but there's nothing like being on a Shinkansen when it really accelerates. Or being on a platform when one goes past at full speed for that matter!

Humble Bundle replacing purchase sliders with less generous options
24 Apr 2021 at 4:45 pm UTC

How do you feel about this? Will it affect future purchases from Humble for you?

Probably not the most popular thing to say, but I normally move the sliders so most goes to either GoL or Bluesnews, as a way to say thanks, never that much to charity, I wonder how that will change

Richard Stallman and the Free Software Foundation speak up on Stallman's return

Quoting: scaineI'm not outraged, but Stallman, and hence the FSF, can definitely get in the bin. The fact that they took weeks to address something as simple as voting back in a confirmed abuser to their board shows me all I need to know about this organisation.

Pretty incredible really. I don't trust them to represent my interests in free software at this point.
I am sorry but your post is basically what is wrong with today's social media, the man is NOT a confirmed abuser, the man might have a bit of autism and thus say stuff with not enough thoughts about how the other party receives it but that is about it.

If people take the time to read themselves what was said in what setting instead of jumping on a mobs bandwagon of people who either need attention or get of on burning somebody down, the world would be a much nicer place.

I have fond memories but I am afraid playing it these days will trash those memories.
A bit like the memories of somehow surviving a fight in bards tale 1 with 2x 99 skeletons when I was way to low the, tried and tried but never got that happening again

But cool people keep these games alive
